This body of work arose out of a fallow period in 2026, time spent studying Bergson’s philosophy with its notion of ‘creative emotion’, and encountering ‘Thinking in Circles’ by Mary Douglas which shows how texts can be constructed in a circular, hinged structure.
Each painting is acrylic on heavy watercolour paper, slightly larger than A1 with a small white margin. The actual painted surface is approx 83 × 59 cm.
The paintings should fit a standard A1 frame without a mount after some careful trimming to size.
Released end August 2026 for one week only at the special price of £180 each. Buy from the shop.

Folded
Radical contingency
And this is the choice
What might be done
So much power
It is up to me
Attention holds the space
Illusions..like vapours from a pond (Deleuze, Bergsonism)
Take your time, love your days
More alive
Recognising rhythms
The joy of a plant
Letting go
