Paintings from an Exhibition (2)

Here’s a further page from the catalogue of my recent exhibition.

My mother once said to the 10 year old me, “I can read you like a book.” Silently, I vowed she never would be able to.

Decades later, I know for sure that one person can never understand another so completely.

On the left: Only this moment, acrylic, charcoal on collaged handwriting on paper, 84 x 59cm On the right: Opting Out, acrylic on paper, 61 x 86cm

and a connecting text.

Newly added on the Writing Page is a collection of essays from our exhibition panel discussion Connecting Conversations.
